You're trusting us with something precious: your child's learning, and a little of their data.
Here is exactly how we handle that trust - no legalese required.
No public leaderboards
Your child is never ranked against other children in public. Motivation in Ziado comes from their own progress - stars, streaks and a growing galaxy.
No child-to-child contact
There is no chat, no messaging and no social feed. Ziado is a place to learn, not a place strangers can reach.
Minimal data, held carefully
A first name or nickname, an age or year level, and learning attempts - that's what the engine needs, so that's what we store. Conservative by default.
Parents stay in control
Accounts are created by parents. You see only your own children; teachers see only their assigned classes. You can request your family's data - or its deletion - anytime.
Human-reviewed content
Every question - including anything AI-assisted - passes deterministic answer checks, human review and simulation before a child ever sees it.
Anonymised benchmarking
Where we compare progress to expected levels, the comparison data is anonymised. No child's data is ever sold, and no child is ever advertised to.
